Customer Care Representative III
Responsible for reviewing requests by mail, telephone, or in person regarding insurance claims/policies. Fully proficient in all key areas; performs many complex functions. Must be able to successfully perform all the duties of the Customer Care Rep II. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

    • Responds to inquiries from policyholders, providers and/or others for information and assistance.

    • Performs research to respond to inquiries and interprets policy provisions to determine most effective response.

    • Required to meet department goals and expectations.

  • Requires a High School diploma or GED;

  • 6+ months Anthem experience;

  • or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Ability to work anytime Monday-Friday between 8:00AM-11:00PM and Saturday and Sunday 9:30AM - 6:00PM Eastern including is required, as well as holidays as needed.

  • Able to work mandatory overtime as needed.

  • Healthcare industry or pharmacy experience required.

  • Call center experience required.

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel required.

  • Knowledge Outlook and Word preferred.

  • Leadership experience strongly preferred.

  • Work experience in PA HUB and ESD preferred.
