Information Management Consultant III:  Serves as a liaison and provides advanced client support and consulting to IM, IT, business users and management on broad range of issues related to IM solutions, including IM data warehouses, IM applications and BI tools. 


Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Establishes, maintains, uses, and continually expands/enhances knowledge of data warehouses/marts, IM and enterprise applications, data, queries/ programming, and organizational structure. Responsible for and/or may lead critical work and/or complex projects performed within a broad technical and business context. May undertake complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical or business knowledge. May design, develop and/or deliver intermediate and advanced training programs for business users in the use of BI and IM tools to enhance business decision-making capability. Develops and disseminates complex information and communications to IM community and beyond. May design, consult on and/or build IM websites. May develop, track, analyze and report on metrics related to IM. Provides relevant insights in new and existing BI activities. Provides advice for short and long term strategic directions. Contributes to the development and maintenance of department policies and standard operating procedures. Assists, instructs, mentors and reviews work of less experienced IM Consultants and provides insights on developmental opportunities. Leads and plans projects. 


Information Management Consultant Sr:  A top-level contributor responsible for advanced client support and consulting to IM, IM-IT, business users, and management on broad range of issues related to IM solutions, including IM data warehouses, IM applications and BI tools. Builds relationships with enterprise-wide business and IT partners to understand and prioritize needs. 


Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Establishes, maintains, uses, and continually expands/enhances knowledge of data warehouses/marts, IM and enterprise applications, data, queries/ programming, and organizational structure. Acts as team leader for large-scale, complex internal and enterprise projects. Undertakes complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical or business knowledge. Designs, develops, and coordinates a curriculum for coaching and training clients in the use of BI and IM tools to enhance business decision-making capability. Designs and releases complex and/or high-profile communications about BI matters. Provides design oversight on IM websites. Leads development, tracking, analysis and reporting of metrics. Provides relevant insights in new and existing BI activities. Provides recommendations and direction for short and long term strategic decisions. Develops and oversees department policies and standard operating procedures. Educates team members on advanced BI tools, design strategies, trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Instructs, directs and reviews/monitors work of less experienced IM Consultants and identifies developmental opportunities. Communicates effectively with multiple levels within the organization. Leads and plans projects. 


Information Management Consultant III:  Requires a BS/BA degree in related field; minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; experience in data warehouse usage, standard query and reporting tools, BI or enterprise software, SQL and Business Objects; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires technical knowledge, training and understanding of principles in multiple IM disciplines / functions. Master's degree preferred. SAS experience preferred.


Information Management Consultant Sr:  Requires a BS/BA degree in related field; 5-7 years of relevant work experience; experience in data warehouse usage, standard query and reporting tools, SQL, SAS and Business Objects, BI applications and enterprise software; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 


Requires mastery of technical and business knowledge in all major subject areas within department including multiple disciplines/processes. Experience in standard BI tools and programming/query languages is also required. Master's degree preferred.
