The Architect Advisor Sr is responsible for solution architecture and design on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms. 

Primary Duties:

  • Analyze capabilities mapping of incoming projectwork to existing enterprise solutions.
  • Identify and document gaps in the currentcapabilities model.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year InformationArchitecture roadmap for business portfolio, showing the roadmap forapplications and integrations.
  • Work closely with other Enterprise SolutionArchitects to ensure a strong working relationship, common understanding ofarchitecture roadmaps and foster a collaborative approach to managing theenterprise architecture.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of the InformationArchitecture is maintained.
  • Conduct technology reviews and audits thatensure solutions systems are built Enterprise standards and are optimized tomaximum efficiency.
  • Interface with external business partners,vendors and subcontractors on issues of interoperability.
  • Keep current with cross industry technologytrends to identify technologies that may benefit the business.


Job Requirements

  • Practical experience designing integration (EAI)solutions, constructing n-tier applications, and delivering complex technologysolutions in a large corporate environment.
  • Exposure to structured architecture methodologysuch as TOGAF.
  • Exposure to UML, Archimate, or similar formalmodeling frameworks.
  • Ideally exposure to an Enterprise Managementtool like iServer
  • Exposure to similar tooling such as SparxEnterprise Architect for creating business context diagrams.
  • Sharepoint experience and light Sharepointdevelopment experience a plus.
  • Experience conducting RFP and POC assessments oftools and vendor selection.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare payerbusiness, specifically provider operations, including certification, servicesand networks.

  • Ability to think strategically and executetactically.
  • Good vendor relationship management andnegotiation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability tointeract with all levels of management and staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
