This position is based in our Richmond, VA office on Staples Rd. This is a high level, individual contributor role, focused on supporting LTSS (Long Term Services and Supports) Cost of Care (CoC) Initiatives. The ideal candidate will be someone with a Medicaid operations background and project management experience.

The Business Change Mgr. is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.

Leads efforts to identify best practices. Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.

Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs. Designs methods for integrating function and process.

Conducts cost/benefit analyses.

Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.

Job Requirements

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 5-8 years of process or project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

-Must have experience in the healthcare industry.

-MCO/Medicaid experience preferred.

-Project management exp. preferred. PMP certified a plus.

-Computer skills: MS office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

-Must be comfortable working with data - reviewing, manipulating and analyzing reports to identify cost of care opportunities.

-Ability to be an influencer; coordinate with various levels of management in various depts. working towards a common goal within a specific timeline.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
