Marketing Community Relations Representative I/II/III:
 
Please Note: This position may be filled at either the Community Relations Representative I, II, or III level. Manager will determine level based upon the selected applicant’s skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
 
Multiple positions may be located at any Iowa statewide location including any of the following:
Sioux City
West Des Moines


Responsible for coordinating and implementing strategies related to specific business programs, products, territory or expansion.
 
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with the member population and community organizations and groups that also work with the member population for the primary purpose of increasing enrollment and decreasing disenrollment.
  • Ensures consistent compliance with state, federal, and company specific requirements.
  • Develops a standard process for assessing market opportunities including
    feasibility and development of sponsored event programs.
  • Conducts marketing activities, events, exhibits, education, and presentations in an effort to gain members and maintain and/or establish relationships with providers, community, and faith based organizations.
  • Identifies and enlists the cooperation of individuals, groups, social service agencies and other community organizations in educational and outreach activities.
  • Identifies cultural issues regarding current and potential members; communicate those issues and concerns to management immediately.
  • Track and monitor all individual activities for compliance and continuous improvement to ensure all activities are best aligned with the business objections.

 
  • Requires an Associates Degree;
  • 4 years of experience in managed care/healthcare or sales/marketing environment;
  • or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. BA/BS preferred
  • Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle with valid motor vehicle insurance required.
  • State health insurance licensure preferred.
