Location:  Norfolk or Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA on-site (Relocation assistance may be provided) or Mason, OH.
As the Domain Architect, you will set the technical vision for the Medicaid Member Portal solution train.  You will also develop technical strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps based on the business goals and objectives.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Recommending new technologies for domains based upon business value drivers and return on investment; driving new technologies towards implementation.
  • Translating business wants and needs into actionable architecture recommendations that can be executed upon by the development teams
  • Establishing the overall architecture vision for the domain and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributing to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Contributing to components of architecture strategy and vision.
  • Maintaining domain-level blueprints and refreshing the blueprints as needs emerge or in accordance to large-scale solution changes.
  • Ensuring the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture) in large-scale projects align with architecture blueprints and reference architectures.
  • Supporting and championing efforts with cross-functional knowledge (e.g., strategy, change management, business process management).
  • Coordinating all domain-level conceptual architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture).
  • Collaborating with solution architects to direct large scale enterprise projects to understand enterprise level architecture strategy, technology stack and identifies future direction, gaps, and roadmap.
  • Setting technical standards including, but not limited to, coding style, code coverage, coding review processes, application and information security reviews.

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.MS/MA/MBA degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • 8 years of experience in information technologies and/or 6 years of experience in health care industry preferred.
Additional Requirements:
  • Expertise in working with various business units to ensure executing to overall vision.
  • AngularJS 1.4, Angular 2 and higher OR React
  • Service Oriented Architecture, REST APIs
  • Generate relationships with various business units across the organization.
  • Regulated industry experience (healthcare, Finance, etc.)
  • Prior experience being in charge of delivering from concept to execution.
Additional Preferences:
  • Cloud, AWS or AZURE 
  • Experience presenting to senior level management
  • Agile is required, Scaled Agile/SAFe is preferred.
  • Public speaking experience is a plus.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning experience
  • Analytics and Data intelligence experience
  • Experience with Omni Channel solutions 
  • Oracle WebCenter
