Sales Support Specialist

Work location: Los Angeles, CA

Responsible for promoting product line success by supporting Account Management team.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Works with Account Management team in servicing and retaining brokers and clients.  
  • Directly supports the Account Managers in the regions assigned in the renewal of existing business, in such activities as open enrollment meetings, administrative projects and support team activities. 
  • Assembles and distributes open enrollment packets.  
  • Audits inquiries and phone calls to ensure compliance. 
  • Coordinates with proposal units on RFP responses to brokers and groups and maintains various system updates for proposal and sales activity. 
  • Assists with the development of benefit summaries and SBC’s through coordination with appropriate departments. 
  • Completes projects as requested by sales directors.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Learn cross functional support roles to support peak season.


Job Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS; 2 years of related sales/marketing experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
