Given Anthem’s scale, balance sheet, broad national reach and depth at the local market level, Anthem has established a new business unit called the Diversified Business Group.  The Diversified Business Group is a solutions-oriented business unit within the Company that will support Anthem and other external clients in the pursuit of transforming healthcare.
Growth Director Health Solutions - Chicago, Denver or Atlanta
Travel Required
Responsible for national growth of Health Solution products for the Payer market, including creation, management, and strategic planning in coordination and collaboration with multiple matrix partners.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Oversees, creates, identifies, and leads profit and growth initiatives that yield positive membership growth and positive operating gains as measured in the annual goals.
Responsible for managing and coordinating account service, performance management activities as the primary contact for retention and growth of a complex group of Diversified Business Group Health Solution accounts. 
Performs account planning including understanding account values, vision, and measures of success.
Performs project/program execution and monitoring including acting as the single point of contact for the account regarding service delivery, issue resolution, and reporting.
Monitors, manages, and communicates Health Solution's overall value and proposition.
Identifies and leads sales/expansion activities including management and delivery of timely and accurate sales pipeline forecasting for assigned account base.
Leads the contract renewal/negotiation and implementation process for existing/new accounts including ensuring pricing and contract terms are aligned with profitability targets.
Proposes solutions and manages standardization across accounts.
Leads multi-disciplinary team to design and implement product and operational enhancements.
Serves as the internal voice of assigned account base for all new product development efforts.
Leads DBG teams to promote customer satisfaction, retention and drive enhanced value to the account via Health Solutions.
Identifies account communication needs and coordinates with marketing team.
Advises/trains/mentors lower level Account Management staff.
Responsible for product growth strategy as it pertains to the line and region of business.
Collaborates and coordinates work with other departments within the business unit, and many matrix partners within the company, including but not limited to Finance, Actuarial, IT, Product, Marketing, and Anthem.
Delivers reporting results to clients, and reports growth performance to leadership team and other stakeholders.

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field;
10-15 years of leadership/management experience in health care management, marketing products and solution, and managing significant business results; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
MBA preferred.
Previous P&L and/or project management experience in health care setting preferred.
Excellent quantitative, marketing, financial, and strategic skills required.
Travel is required (25%-50%).
