Responsible for providing financial analysis and preparing analysis of results for lines of business.

Location:  Cerritos, CA

The Financial Consultant is responsible for reviewing and preparing interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifies complex financial problems or issues, researches solutions, and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of efficiency.
  • Develops statistical analysis, interpretation of health outcomes data and makes recommendations to improve the company’s business through various initiatives related to cost savings.
  • Collaborates with data warehouse analysts in establishing business rules and provide business expertise regarding appropriate use of data elements.
  • Prepares financial planning, financial section of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders, applicable government reports, and budget reports.
  • Is used as a resource by staff or outside departments.
  • Trains and reviews the work of lower level Financial Analysts

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, or other related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting experience.
  • 3 years of experience in MS Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.
  • 3 years of experience in SQL in an academic or professional environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to a widely diverse audience. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MBA, CPA or CMA.
  • 3 years of experience using Tableau.
  • 3 years of experience using MS SQL Server Reporting Services.
