A top-level contributor responsible for enterprisedata governance, consulting to business and technology stakeholders, and the managementof a broad range of issues related to data management.


  • Builds relationships with enterprise-widebusiness and technology partners to understand and prioritize information managementneeds.
  • Primary duties may include, but are not limitedto:  establishing, maintaining, using andcontinually expanding / enhancing the discipline of data governance, data quality,and other data management capabilities, including the planning, implementationand operations thereof.   
  • Acts as a leader for large-scale, complexinternal and enterprise projects and programs. Undertakes complex assignmentsrequiring additional specialized technical and / or business knowledge.
  • Designs, develops, and coordinates a curriculumfor coaching and training clients in the use of information management and datagovernance tools to enhance business capabilities of managing Data as an Asset.
  • Designs and releases complex and / orhigh-profile communications on information management.  Provides design oversight on information managementwebsites.
  • Leads development, tracking, analysis andreporting of data governance related metrics. Provides relevant insights in newand existing information management activities.
  • Provides recommendations, direction and deliversimplementations for short and long term strategic goals.
  • Develops and oversees enterprise data policies,department policies and standard data management operating procedures.
  • Educates team members on advanced information managementtools, design strategies, trends, emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Instructs, directs and reviews / monitors workof less experienced Information Management Consultants and / or businesspartners to identify developmental opportunities.
  • Communicates effectively with multiple levelswithin the organization. Leads and plans projects.

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills with afocus on business processes and information flow with the ability to streamlineand organize.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Requires a BS / BA degree in related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in enterprise data architecture, datamanagement, data governance and / or data quality programs.  
  • Any combination of education and experiencewhich would provide an equivalent background.
  • Requires mastery of technical and businessknowledge in all major subject areas within the department including multipledisciplines and processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with data management andgovernance technologies such as Collibra, Axon or Enterprise InformationCatalog.
  • Master's degree preferred.
