This position is located in Atlanta, GA at the Anthem Innovation Studio, Centergy Building in Georgia Tech Square.  

The MBA Internship in the Anthem Innovation Studio will work under the direction of the Innovation Director, Commercial Segment, and will support innovation activities across the enterprise, participating in projects and initiatives across all phases of the studio’s industry leading innovation process.  
 
The intern will focus at the strategic innovation level; however, the internship will provide exposure to a broad range of studio capabilities, including introductory experiences in ideation facilitation and (solution) design thinking, user experience, business analysis, and consumer/usability research, as well as conceptual technology architecture.   
The internship may include assignment of a special studio project with a defined deliverable and presentation.     
This is a full-time (up to 40 hour per week) internship during the summer, and part-time flexible hours during the school year. This is a paid internship with a competitive hourly rate.  This is a paid internship with a competitive hourly rate.  

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an MBA at an accredited college or university is required 
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Balance of big picture conceptual and analytic thinking
  • Ability to work with data, spreadsheets, and perform value analysis;  ability to integrate diverse and sometimes complex information to reach conclusions
  • Has a passion for and interest in innovation, strategy, and digital technologies
  • Prior experience, knowledge, or interests in healthcare preferred but not required
  • The ability to work in an accelerated, collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, with a basic understanding of agile principles, tools and methodologies, is a plus
