Preferred Location: Chicago, Illinois but open to other locations

Our Medicare Compliance Director is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Medicare Compliance Program, which may have the additional scope and oversight of specialty/complex markets and/or multiple health plan compliance responsibilities, incorporating the Office of Inspector General’s guidance on the essential components of an effective compliance program.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:  
  • Develops and implements an annual plan-specific compliance work plan to ensure the elements of an effective compliance program are appropriately in place at the plan-level and that the Medicare Compliance work plan is carried out locally, as appropriate. 
  • Participates as an active member of the leadership team, developing strong relationships with key leaders, and engaging leadership in the compliance risk assessment process. 
  • Monitors adherence to contractual obligations.

Requires BA/BS; 12+ years relevant experience compliance or audit, including experience in heavily regulated markets, and including 7 years of leadership/management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Master’s Degree or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred. Will be required to attend as a minimum quarterly meetings at our AIM’s Headquarters in Chicago, IL.
