Manager-Workforce Management-Virginia Beach preferred/Remote

Manages Claims WFM Analyst I and II and Claims WFM Analyst Sr. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Predicting inventory receipts, inventory volumes, production rates, and goal achievement

- Addresses concerns to service levels and ensures productivity goals are met.

- Implements and maintains workforce management platform.

- Maintains and analyzes workforce performance, leads analysis and staffing change data for continuous quality and

productivity improvement.

- Coordinates all reporting related to workforce management.

- Oversees performance indicators and reporting mechanisms to measure operating standards and to facilitate effective

decision support.

- Organizes project tasks, structures information collection activities and sets time lines for completion of required tasks.

- Provides post-mortem commentary on metric performances that drove inventory levels.

- Maintains numerous short term staffing models for multiple business units.

- Performs continuous analysis and leads projects resulting in decreased inventory volume.

- Analyzes and interprets short term staffing model results and how those drive the long-term resource plan.

- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

- Other duties as required.

Job Requirements

Requires :

- BS/BA degree in business, statistics or a related field

- at least 2 years in inventory management

- 3-5 years of operations management experience including forecasting, scheduling and real-time operations

   management

- Claims experience is helpful

- Ability to influence is crucial. Prior team lead and/or functional management experience is preferred.

- Ability to solve problems and identify gaps

- Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple teams within the enterprise.

- or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
