(Pharmacy) Business Change Advisor Sr - multiple Anthem locations preferred (PS13999)
 
Summary: Responsible for assisting the senior leadership team within the business unit and the organization in bridging the gap between the current and desired business performance levels and balancing short-term business needs with long-term perspectives on success to ensure that our change journey produces desired results.
 
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
  • Utilizes root cause analysis and delivers problem solving strategies and tools to address business issues with people, process and technology and mitigates risks and drives solutions that ensures quality adherence for pharmacy projects/initiatives
  • Establishes strong business partnerships by demonstrating knowledge of  process redesign and successfully supports the development of new enterprise processes, reporting, system changes and business practices
  • Ability to clearly and effectively create, prepare and communicate plans, status and issues/risks with stakeholders and key leadership. Translate key messages around impacts to key stakeholders
  • Facilitates and coordinates annual planning process for the business unit
  • Supports strategic planning and monitoring of key initiatives and deliverables
  • Facilitates identification of leadership's priorities and establishment of goals within the context of a designated strategic plan
  • Develops journey plan and maps to reach goals and educates key stakeholders in use of these tools
  • Oversees utilization of additional management tools and processes
  • Possesses knowledge and understanding of general insurance practices, regulatory, and technical trends, opportunities and direction  within the Health Insurance Industry/ focus on pharmacy and PBM practices 
  • Recognizes and pinpoints potential issues or concerns that impact projects and processes within Pharmacy Operations
  • Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and required resources
  • Works with leaders to develop and design processes and systems that support business needs
  • Builds consensus across organizational functional areas, leads Root Cause Analysis, uncovers trends, identifies and resolves tactical and strategic high priority organizational and business issues – SWAT approach
  • Metrics planning and analysis includes operationally defining, collecting, and analyzing data to drive business decisions and /or assess outcomes
  • Serves as a resource to others
  • Assesses and interprets business and user needs and requirements, and documents the business impacts
Qualifications
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; minimum 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Project management skills required
  • PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Pharmacy experience and/or working knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry strongly preferred
