As our Information Technology team continues to evolve and grow, we are looking for sharp talent to serve as an intern to help execute our plans. The intern will serve as a Process Engineer in our Data Center Network Services group.  The candidate will have an opportunity to work with Anthem network engineering and work intake teams to develop and refine the processes by which we accept work requests, evaluate their completeness, and assign them to the appropriate delivery teams. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Candidates must be currently pursuing a graduate degree within a technical field of study.
  • Ability to work part-time during the school year and full-time during school breaks.
  • Core skills should include a keen interest in and a basic understanding of data networking technologies in an enterprise environment.
  • Preferred skills include some knowledge of Network Applications such as load balancing, DHCP, DNS, and logging and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Perl, with some application development experience, is strongly desired.
  • Talent for envisioning and documenting complex technical process flows.






 
This position is located in our Richmond, VA office at 2015 Staples Mill Road. Remote work will not be allowed.
