Process Expert II

This position may be filled in the Denver, CO, Midland, GA,

Virginia Beach, VA, Richmond, VA, Indianapolis, IN,

Tampa, FL, South Portland, ME, Fond du Lac, WI, or Mason, OH office or the candidate must live within a one hour commuting distance to one of these sites.


The Process Expert II supports a single operations department by participating in project and process work. Primary duties

may include, but are not limited to:

- Researches operations workflow problems and system irregularities

- Develops tests, presents process improvement solutions for new systems, new accounts and other operational

improvements.

- Develops and leads project plans and communicates project status.

- Establishes program governance when needed to assure response to issue escalation; develops program budget and

ensures program meets its stated objectives.

- Provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day business issues; researches applicable subject matter

practices; and remains aware of industry trends.

- Manages business relationships and partners with health plan as well as corporate areas.

- Develops communication documents and training criteria related to program success measures.

- Develops documentation to support meeting presentations and the tracking and reporting of the program’s success.

- Provides leadership to program support staff.

- Manages programs that require managing activities and resources of multiple departments or business areas of the

organization.

- Manages cost of care tracking and analysis for assigned programs.
 
 
Requires:
- BA/BS degree
- 5-7 years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, project coordination in a high-volume managed care
operation (claims, customer service, enrollment and billing) with the ability to analyze workflows, processes, supporting
systems and procedures and identifying improvements; or any combination of education and experience, which would
provide an equivalent background.
- Healthcare claims experience required.
- Knowledge of provider setup and pricing
- Strong understanding of Commercial business operations
