Product Management Director Sr.
Location: Denver, Co, Atlanta, GA or may consider work at home


Responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative, complex health and service product strategies for commercialization to payers and employers.  Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: 
Conducts market research and assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
Develops, implements and maintains competitive product platform. 
Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
Partners with other product managers to achieve superior execution of product strategy in the marketplace. 
Obtains product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies.
Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
Tracks individual product performance by benefit design, payer and employer.  
Supports the development of short and long term strategic product plans in support of market, sales and profitability objectives. 
Identifies system needs to support short and long term product strategy. 
Determines specifications, product timetables, pricing, and time-integrated pans for product introduction.  
Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
Develops system requirements, performance guarantees and ROI. 
May lead effort or manage project teams in the implementation of complex  initiatives including portfolio repositioning in a market, legislative changes, medical management program and policy initiatives, etc. 



Requires a BA/BS degree; 7-10 years of product management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas required: Product Development, Market Strategy, Market Research or Risk Management. MBA preferred.
