CareMore, an innovative Anthem, Inc. subsidiary, seeks motivated individuals to change the healthcare status quo by proactively preventing or delaying of chronic disease in our aging population.  CareMore has an immediate need for a Registered Dietitian (RD) in the Apple Valley area.   
As a CareMore RD, individual utilizes medical nutrition therapy expertise and motivational interviewing to partner with our dynamic, wellness-minded team to manage a variety of diseases to include: Diabetes, COPD, CKD/ESRD, and HTN.  The applicant’s primary duties may include, but are not limited to: conducting individualized nutrition assessments and follow ups, ongoing goal setting through accurately interpreting laboratory values, data collection and effective communication skills, educate individuals and families in private 1:1 sessions, groups through ongoing clinic patient education courses and occasionally provide community outreach support to the CareMore outreach teams. Registered Dietitian will need to be self-motivated, organized, punctual, have the ability to collaborate with other clinical professionals and have care for our aging population.

Job Requirements

Requires a BA/BS; 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Registered dietitian required. For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a pre-placement Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
